When I was told that
I was going to meet
Paulette Raulerson
for the first time, I was
excited to finally get
the opportunity to meet
a woman who has
successfully juggled a
business career with
motherhood. Paulette
is a familiar face in
the community after
years of appearing in
television, print and radio
advertisements for the
group of automobile
dealerships founded
by her father, Wade
Raulerson. Today,
she is still working with
customers but in the
world of real estate and
is ready to help people
with the most important
purchase of their lives...
buying a home.
Real estate is a natural
fit for Paulette after years
of assisting customers
purchase another
significant investment...an automobile. She started at her dad’s business when
she was 15 answering the switchboard phone. Paulette continued working at the
dealership, while earning her degree in sociology from the University of Florida
and eventually tried her hand at sales where clients trusted her because of her
genuine care for them.
After spending many years at Raulerson Pontiac, Paulette transferred to the
family’s Honda dealership where she became general manager for five years.
After her family sold their dealerships, Paulette decided to become involved in the
real estate field. She pursued a real estate career because she enjoys helping
people look for a new home and receives gratification of seeing a sale completed
from the first contact with a prospective
homeowner to the day the sale is
finalized.
Tracy Storms is joining forces with
Paulette at Focus Real Estate Group
in Gainesville. When I met both
Tracy and Paulette one morning over
a cup of coffee, they quipped that
two heads are better than one when
working in real estate. With all kidding
aside, both women bring their own
strengths to homebuyers. Paulette
presents years of sales and marketing
experience, along with knowledge
of the Gainesville area, while Tracy
worked as Director of the North Central
Florida Builders Exchange where
she developed contacts with many
homebuilders.
“Being around people and knowing her
proven track record was the reason for
deciding to work with Tracy,” Paulette
says.
Paulette and Tracy are
committed to helping
their customers every
step of the way. Paulette
says having two people
as partners is better for
the customer because
one of them is always
available to answer
questions and alleviate
concerns. The duo can
relate to their clients
because there’re both
homeowners and parents
who put themselves
in the shoes of their
customers. Tracy says
she’s become a mother
figure to college students
who buy from her and
helps them when an
emergency happens or
is just there for someone
who is anxious being
away from the comforts
of home for the first time.
Paulette and Tracy will
go out of their way for
you when it comes time
to obtaining your new
home. They will personally take their time to research the Good Life area to find
the best location for you and your family to live in. Whether it be a school that
is “A’ rated , an easy commute to work or to a day care center or within walking
distance of a pharmacy or grocery store, Paulette can advise potential clients
about the amenities of a neighborhood since she is a native of Gainesville .
Along with Tracy’s experience in real estate, the building industry and with actual
area homebuilders in the community, this dynamic duo is your ticket to finding a
place that you can call home. Paulette and Tracy emphasize they will treat their
prospective clients with kindness, understanding and care, and will help the client
find the right neighborhood to live in. Paulette and Tracy are not satisfied until the
customer is happy.
Now is the best time to buy a home
with banks still lending money at an
all time low rate. Both women say
Gainesville is a great place to move
to because of its blend of a small
town in a big city atmosphere, and
being a great place to raise children.
In addition Money magazine this
year rated Gainesville as the top
ranked area for retirees to relocate.
If you’re interested in purchasing
a new home, stop by and say
