Tioga Town Center officially opened in April 2004 with Millennium Bank (now Royal Bank of Canada) and the offices of Tioga Town Center and Tioga Realty. Following shortly afterwards, Kidworks Preschool opened with a waiting list in its own freestanding building. Expansion plans for Kidworks are on the drawing board as well as 90,000 new square feet of 1st story retail and 2nd & 3rd story luxury apartment rentals. Future plans for an additional 90,000 sq. ft. of mixed retail & residential are on the drawing board and the developer is studying the feasibility of a bed & breakfast or boutique hotel.

Currently there are 16 retail shops in addition to professional & medical businesses. New phases will feature up to 20 more retailers depending on size requirements while staying focused on a meaningful & attractive retail mix.

Chef Stephen Williams will open, “Ocean’s,” the first full-service sit down restaurant in early October. He joins Nature’s Table, Starbucks and The Flour Pot who’ve all been serving the breakfast & lunch crowd in addition to other retailers such as Cucina Mia and Northwest Seafood who have identified a niche for high-quality prepared fresh foods that today’s busy customer can apply finishing touches and serve at home. The new phases will feature up to 4 restaurants; 2 full service sit-down and up to 2 quick service restaurants including a gourmet NY style pizza for eating in, enjoying in the town square or taking out.
