The Source Properties Network, Inc. started by Alachua County locals, Susan Parker and Sheila Greene are excited to announce the launch of this new real estate firm. The Source Properties is a full service real estate company offering Property Management, Residential Sales, Commercial Sales and Development Consulting and Sales. Susan and Sheila are starting their company with an energetic beginning that not only includes working in real estate but also in committing to giving back to the local community. There are four real estate professionals who work for the company that include Susan, Sheila, John Glanzer and Kathryn Corace. The Source Properties Network have also partnered with local mortgage broker, Danielle Collins from Crown Financial Mortgage Group, as they all agree they share the same simple philosophy when it comes to business. “Give back to the community that supports your business”, and feel this philosophy is why they work so well together.
When talking with Susan and Sheila, it is obvious how excited they are to be
experiencing all the upcoming projects and events that have arisen with the prospect
of this new undertaking, and they are looking forward to a busy year in 2008. Susan
explained how the group has delegated the areas they will cover, with her and Sheila
managing their three local offices, and John and Kathryn working out of their
Steinhatchee branch.
The community involvement of this group is as extensive as it is impressive. They
all feel it is important to be involved and give back to the community.
Susan’s community involvement includes: co-chairing and organizing the “Mel
Tillis and Friends Fishing Tournament” coming up on April 12,
2008, her membership on the Newberry Chamber of Commerce Board – City
Government, Steinhatchee River Chamber of Commerce, Gainesville Chamber of
Commerce, Builder’s Association of North Central Florida – Governmental Affairs,
Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors (GACAR) – Governmental
Affairs, and a volunteer for numerous other organizations. Her past City
Commissioner, Planning and Zoning and Commercial Real Estate Lender experience,
bring a wealth of knowledge to the Real Estate Sales Industry.
Sheila is not only a full time Realtor, but is dedicated to her family. Her community
involvement starts with volunteering at Talbot Elementary several times a week in
her son’s kindergarten class, in addition to proudly participating in many other area
organizations and committees, including co-chairing and organizing the “ Mel Tillis
and Friends Fishing Tournament”, the Women’s Council of Realtors, The Gainesville
and Steinhatchee Chambers of Commerce, GACAR and the local Builder’s
Association. Sheila feels there are certain organizations that are so important to be
involved with in order to stay updated on the latest changes in the real estate industry.
John Glanzer, who apart from being the current Mayor of Newberry and a licensed
Realtor, is, as all the Source Properties members, active in many types of community
affairs, including the Florida League of Mayors, Alachua County League of Cities,
Alachua County Visioning Committee, North Central Florida Regional Council,
and is a representative for many other area groups. He is also the Chairperson for
the Archer/Newberry Weed and Seed Steering Committee, a community-based
strategy sponsored by the US Department of Justice with an innovative,
comprehensive multi-agency approach to law enforcement, crime prevention and
community revitalization.
Kathryn Corace, who is the General Manager of Gulfstream Marina and Lodge, is
the local real estate contact for the Steinhatchee properties. Kathryn, a successful
Realtor from the Naples area, volunteered many hours in numerous charity events
before coming to Steinhatchee to manage the marina and lodge (her daughter and
son-in-law’s pride and joy), and to be a part of the development of the marina. Not only does she bring her success in real estate and
management, she is a top-notch designer bringing her
expertise to the marina’s new design and look. Kathryn
is a member of the Steinhatchee River Chamber,
Progressive Animal Awareness Society (PAWS), and
volunteers locally to help all river causes. She is also
instrumental in the “Mel Tillis and Friends Fishing
Tournament”.
All in all, the Team at Source Properties assists their
community through volunteer work, in particular
regarding government issues that impact the quality of
life for the local citizens and the community.
Danielle Collins, an experienced Licensed Mortgage
Broker with Crown Financial Mortgage Group, provides
a variety of mortgage financing services for clients of
the Source Properties, as well as many other realtors in
her local and surrounding communities. She is active in
identifying all possible options a customer may have to
ensure they receive the best financing possible. Danielle
takes pride in her service and relationships with not only
her customers, but with realtors and other business associates
she comes into contact with. She feels knowledge and
excellence in service creates a great professional business
relationship.
Not only is Danielle business oriented, she is also very
active in the community along with The Source Properties.
She believes what you put into the community; you also
receive in some shape or form, whether it is in receiving
business, or just the satisfaction of helping one another.
Danielle dedicates her spare time to many organizations and
fundraisers. The current fundraiser she is excited to be a
volunteer and sponsor of, is the “Fishing with Mel” Tillis
Tournament helping to raise money for crippled children.
The organizations she is honored to be a part of are: The
Rotary Club of Gainesville, Fighting Gator Touchdown Club,
Alachua County Chamber of Commerce, Gainesville Alachua
County Association of Realtors offering her assistance to
the Affiliate Committee, Women’s Council of Realtors as
their board Secretary, Casino Night Committee Chair and
Golf Tournament Committee Member. Danielle also belongs
to the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers, and the
National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Although she is
diligent with business, she feels there is always room for
community involvement.
Even though their real estate business keeps them very
busy, Susan, Sheila, John, Kathryn and Danielle are very
proud to be involved in one of the most exciting area charity
events of 2008. Source Properties is instrumental in
organizing and participating in the upcoming “Fishing with
Mel Tillis and Friends Fishing Tournament”.
The second annual event is being held at the Gulfstream
Marina and Lodge in Steinhatchee on Saturday, April
12th, 2008. This celebrity packed event draws a very large
crowd and with over 3,000 attendees last year, the turn out
is expected to be even larger this year. The guest of honor
and featured performer is everyone’s favorite Country
and Western artist, and area resident, Mel Tillis, for
whom the event is named.
The fun begins on Friday April 11th with the
“Docktail Party” kicking off at 6:00 pm, and Kenyon
Lockry, a performer from last years’ event, playing
in the Tiki Bar at 8:00 pm. The main event fishing
tournament is to be held on Saturday, April 12th,
starting at safelight and ending at 4:00 pm.
There will be fun for the whole family which is the theme
of the day, with buggy rides, face painting, clowns and fishing
for the kids. Then later that evening Mel Tillis will be
performing a benefit concert at 8:00 pm at the Gulfstream
Marina and Lodge, so come enjoy the music and fun and
enter for a chance to win a Triton Boat.
Proceeds will go to the Shriner’s Hospitals for crippled
children for which Susan and Sheila anticipate raising over
$20,000. There will also be a silent auction and other
fundraising activities which will be donated to the Shriners
and a portion to the local Steinhatchee schools.
With the upcoming event, this is a great time to familiarize
yourself with Steinhatchee and enjoy the local atmosphere,
while affording the opportunity to participate in this
spectacular special event. Susan and Sheila feel that the
community has always supported both them and their
business endeavours in a very positive way, and the Source
Properties, along with Danielle Collins with Crown Financial
Mortgage Group, are very devoted to being certain to give
back to the community in every way possible. It is hoped
that the Steinhatchee event will be the first of many events
The Source Properties has the pleasure to promote.
