Spectacular Christmas event to Delight ALL PDF Print E-mail

If you think Martha Stewart can decorate then you ‘ain’t seen nothing’ until you go to the Orlando Museum of Art’s 21st annual Festival of Trees presented by the Council of 101 to benefit OMA.

Local designers go all out on lavish Christmas decorations.  This nine day event will definitely get any Grinch into the Holiday spirit.  From wreaths to full room décor it is all on view and for sale.  The museum is a total winter wonderland with an endless amount of bedazzled, glittering trees.  Local Pasty Chefs put their talents on display by making Gingerbread houses of all shapes and sizes that are beautifully displayed in the Gingerbread Village.

All family members are included in this wonderful Christmas exhibit, even dogs!  You can take a stroll down “Bark” Avenue and shop for your pooches dream dog house, that are crafted by Central Florida builders.  Children can enjoy Candyland as there are games and crafts.  If you are lucky you might even catch Santa in Candyland.  Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the event so check the website to see what will be on.

If you are looking for accommodations while visiting this event and doing your holiday shopping check out the Peabody Hotel which is also laden with Christmas decorations and conveniently located on International Drive.
