Rev Your Engine at Local Car Clubs

Gainesville Car Friends & Other Local Car Clubs

This group of car enthusiasts meets every Friday night from 7-9pm on the roof top of the parking garage at the Phillips Center. There are about 600 members that come from all different backgrounds. Some are college students while others are local business owners. You will find a vast array of American muscle cars, imports, and unique modified vehicles, and sometimes an exotic will show up.

This is a great place to come socialize, chat about cars and gain new friends with the same passion for vehicles. Members talk about how to wrap their cars or how to get more horsepower. Usually someone there will either know how to do it or know someone that can. You never know what will show up and you never know what useful tips you might pick up from this group. Look up Gainesville Car Friends on Facebook and drive to the roof of the parking garage and enjoy a beautiful Florida night talking about cars! You might also want to join (by visiting their Facebook pages).

Gainesville Cars and Coffee meets every 2nd Sunday in the parking lot by Hobby Lobby. Gainesville Street Rods meets every 2nd Saturday in the Publix parking lot on 39th Avenue and I-75. Don’t miss Gainesville Street Rods 36th Annual Car Show, Sat., March 10, 10-3 at Santa Fe College.
