The chilly weather makes you want to hug the ones you love even more and …….talking of love, I was honored to attend the wedding of Judy Brill Lang and Davis Rembert. I have known Davis for a long time and many in our community know him as he has hosted a multitude of charitable events on his property at The Barn at Rembert Farms, which is located in Alachua. The couple have known each other since attending Gainesville High School. Davis was in 12th grade and Judy was in the 9th grade.

On a blustery fall day, the couple held their wedding ceremony at Trinity Methodist Church in Gainesville. It was an intimate setting in a beautiful, little glass chapel. Guests drove out to the Rembert Farm for the reception which was held in a large tent up on the rolling hills. The view was spectacular. Davis and Judy arrived in style as Davis drove up in his convertible AMG GTA Mercedes. I had the pleasure of sitting next Judy’s parents who are in their nineties.

Judy and Davis were radiant. We all wish them many years of love and happiness.
